I'm currently debating what to do with all this money I got! My family and I went to see our grandparents this weekend for the holiday and they wound up surprising my brother, sister and I with a ton of money. They were saying they did unexpectedly well with this one stock they invested in and they decided to cash it out while things were at such a high. That caught us all completely off guard and we were all so grateful! I think half of it I'm going to combine with my own money and apply it toward Lasik cost. I've been looking into getting that procedure done for a long while now. I wondered how I was going to come up with the rest of the money and now I don't have to worry about it anymore.  Alternating between glasses and contacts is alright, but if I can simplify my routine even further it would be really nice. I think the other half of it I'm going to save, although I'm half-tempted to apply it toward some wild adventure in another country. Like I've been really wanting to do this one volunteer program in Africa. It's at this conservancy and you actually help take care of some elephants and track their migration. Having money in the bank is all fine and good, but this project is one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences that I don't want to miss out on!
